Mission Statement:
Working together to reach the lost for Christ and to provide for the spiritual, physical and educational needs of the Haitian people.

                Statement of Faith

* We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible,
      authoritative Word of God.
* We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
* We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by
whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
* We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that
they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are
lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Marche-Conard

The Haiti Evangelical Christian Mission (HECM) is located in the town of Marche-Canard, the capital of the Gascogne Community, which is just outside the city of Mirebalais.  Gascogne has a population of over 60,000 people.  Marche-Canard people are very loving and friendly. Unfortunately, there is a very large community of non-belivers and an influence of Voodoo in the surrounding areas.  God is definitely at work in the community of believers here in Marche-Canard.  It is the desire of this church to continue to reach these people and bring them to Jesus Christ. The church currently has an attendance of over 500 people and there are 40 affiliated churches in several parts of Haiti under Haiti Evangelical Christian Mission.  The staff in Marche- Canard include; 4 deacons, 2 preachers, and 14 teachers for Sunday school.
